Tuna-Macaroni-Cheese Casserole


4 cups of cooked macaroni
3 tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoon of minced onion
3 tablespoons of flour
3 cups of milk
dash of Worcestershire sauce
14 ounces of water packed tuna
1 cup of grated American cheese
4 pieces of bacon
salt and pepper

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

First, in a small saucepan on medium low heat, melt the butter and add the onion. Then whisk in the flour and gradually add the milk, whisking. Cook until thick and smooth, occasionally stirring. Then, add the Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

Now, grease a baking dish and put in half the macaroni, half the cheese, and half the tuna fish. Then pour half the sauce over it. Repeat with the rest of the ingredients. Top the baking dish with the bacon and put in the oven. Bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees.

Quick Supper Casserole


We’ve all had to rely on something like this, at least once!

1 package macaroni and cheese dinner
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup tuna
1 package frozen peas
1 cup celery soup
1/2 cup milk
Buttered bread crumbs

Cook macaroni and cheese; toss well with butter. Add tuna, peas, soup and milk. Place in buttered casserole dish; cover with buttered crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Mac Tuna Bake


1 can tuna, drained
4 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 tablespoons green pepper, minced
1 cup milk
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
2 slices bread, buttered, cubed
8 ounce macaroni
2 tablespoons onion, minced
2 tablespoons flour
1 dash pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Paprika

Preheat oven 350 degrees f. Cook macaroni, drain. Melt butter and sauté onion
and green pepper, 5 minutes. Add flour, salt and pepper and stir well. Add milk
and mushroom soup. Stir over low heat until smooth. Add macaroni, flaked tuna, and
half the cheese stir. Pour into 2 quarters casserole, sprinkle remaining cheese
on top. Top with buttered bread cubes and sprinkle with paprika. Bake 35 minutes
until browned.

Tuna Bake


1/4 cup diced green pepper
1 cup sliced celery
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2/3 cup milk
1 cup shredded process cheese
1 (9 1/4-ounces) can tuna, drained
1 (8-ounces) package medium noodles, cooked and drained
8 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped pimento
1/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Cook green pepper, celery and onion in butter for 5 minutes. Blend soup and milk; add cheese. Heat and stir until cheese melts. Combine tuna, noodles, mayonnaise and pimento. Pour cheese sauce over mixture. Turn into greased casserole dish. Sprinkle almonds over the top. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
