|If you were a member of my family when I was growing up, this was also known as Layered Pistachio Dessert or Layered Chocolate Dessert. This dessert is yummy with either of those flavors. Butterscotch is also very good!
1 c. flour
1 1/4 stick butter
3/4 – 1 c. walnuts, chopped finely
Combine and press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 10- 15 minutes. Remove and cool.
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. confectioners’ sugar
1 c. Cool Whip
Cream together. Spread on 1st Layer.
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. favorite instant pudding
2 c. milk
Mix until begins to thicken. Pour over 2nd Layer. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts.
