1 package (3.4 ounces) instant butterscotch pudding mix
1/2 cup butter, softened

1 package (14 ounces) caramels

1/2 cup evaporated milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups mixed nuts
1 cup butterscotch chips
